Found Eights

Sometimes as a child, I felt unseen, unheard, unloved, and rejected. I felt like trash—discarded and used. Using reclaimed objects, I create Found Eights. To reclaim this missing piece of myself, I came up with Found Eights.

Every once in while I’ll place an Eight somewhere in the world, wherever I feel like, whenever she needs to be found. It could be a print of an existing piece, an original piece, a poem, or a quick little doodle on a piece of ephemera.

If you found Eight in the wild, you can speak here.

You might feel like telling what it was like to notice her. What was she saying to you?

You also don’t have to explain.

You don’t have to respond to anyone.

It’s all up to you. And Eight.

You can leave a note here, if you want.
